WHO
B.I.T.D is a pure-play international distribution system with superior
value-priced services and reliable delivery for both private and government sector clients. Borned from an experienced and young team, B.I.T.D is a company formed by people worldwide with the aim to be the leader of the FMCG distribution in Africa. We have five permanent members in the team, one of whom is operational in Italy, two in Burkina Faso, one in Guadeloupe and one in China.
WHERE
In the Ouagadougou area, central Burkina Faso, the first city of the country. The principal warehouse is located 10 km far from the city in a place named “Dassassogho”. The offices are located near to the warehouse and in the central area of the city to allow a major mobility. now serves client businesses from over 150 local shops(Total boutiques and pharmacies),many European wholesalers and some companies in Asia. B.I.T.D also expand it’s own distribution net acquiring a shop in the unique commercial centre in Burkina Faso and also in the airport.
WHY
Burkina Faso is a developing country, social economic and cultural. Progress is sometimes quicker than people can handle, but none industries are present except the government ones which are less than 10. So, everything is being imported and the demand is more than the supply. A fresh commercial input with new ideas can give the local economy more dynamism. B.I.T.D is the first company in West Africa with a modern distribution system. Our experience in the field allowed us to strength commercial agreement with the majors shops and wholesalers in the country(Up to 100 Total shops, 50 pharmacies and 7 franchising). This success is the first step of our plans. We will enlarge our action field to Niger within one year and so on to Mali, Mauritania, Togo, Benin…
